Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 (PB-4)+ Rs. 8700/- (Grade Pay)

 Essential Qualifications:

 (i) Post Graduate qualification in the subject of Samhita, Sanskrit and Sidhanta as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970);

(ii) Degree in Ayurveda from any recognized University or Statutory Board/Faculty/Examining Body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970);

(iii) Ten years teaching experience including at least five years teaching experience as Reader in the subject of Samhita, Sanskrit and Sidhanta in any Ayurvedic College.

(iv) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard;

Preferential:

(v) Original published paper/books on the subject of Samhita, Sanskrit and Sidhanta.
